  • This is a single owner 2018 Ford Transit 250 High roof extended with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine in excellent condition. It was bought brand new in December 2018 and currently has around 5,100 miles.

  • I designed and built this van with the intention of using it as a cross-country national park hopper for our family of four + large dog. But as life would have it, now we’re building a house and don’t anticipate much #vanlife for the next two years.

  • As the seller/builder, I currently work as an mechanical/electrical/controls engineer, and have years of experience as a finish carpenter and custom cabinetmaker. Building custom vans is where my experience, expertise and skills have intersected. It was built over the years with expert care, as I enjoy the process and precision (to my wife’s chagrin).

  • It has seating for 4 and will sleep 4 adults comfortably. We have only used it twice for weekend camping trips.

  • What stands out in this van is the elegant, sturdy cabinetry and trim built from reclaimed walnut and hickory from Hurricane Fran (1996!). It has a sleek design with fine details such as matched door and drawer fronts, push-to-open drawers and fully adjustable euro hinges. I added the four windows for natural light, ambiance and ventilation.

  • It is designed to operate indefinitely off-grid, but has standard RV hookups for 120VAC and water.

  • The camper van is located in Harrisonburg, VA and can be delivered.
